It’s a Moose?

I’ve been knitting stuffed animals since the birth of my first great-niece in 2014 – because it’s FUN!

And now a girlfriend has requested a moose! I didn’t love any of the patterns I browsed

through, so I’m doing a “Frankenstein” by blending three patterns. The core is from Knitables’ hippo, because the head has a more prominent nose shape 😉 – a very important feature of a moose!

I’m using Knitables’ reindeer for the ears, and something else entirely for the distinctive palmate shape of a moose’s antlers.
